Daintree Dancing is a creation of Omid’s ongoing collaboration with poet and lyricist Helen Ramoutsaki. The inspiration for the lyrics has been millions of years in the making. The Daintree rainforest is part of the Wet Tropics region of Northern Queensland, a unique environment which opens up a living record of Australia’s evolutionary span. Daintree Dancing celebrates the sensation of moving beneath its canopy, swept up in the sights and sounds, all linked in a common breath.
